Oversized and Overweight Loads
The Town of Vermilion uses the TRAVIS Permit System to track all oversized and overweight loads. Transportation Routing and Vehicle Information System (TRAVIS) is a web-based system implemented by the Province of Alberta for all required transportation permits. This system allows you to quickly and easily submit and check your application on-line.
Oversize and overweight vehicles will not be allowed to move through the Province without approval from TRAVIS. For information on the TRAVIS system and how you can apply for a permit, please visit their website.
