Councillor Paul Conlon |
Councillor Paul Conlon has called the Vermilion area home for over 25 years. Trained and licensed as a Commercial Helicopter Pilot Councillor Conlon is employed with and part owner of Pentacon Utility Services as well as a volunteer fire fighter with the Vermilion Fire Department. With wedding plans set for 2022, Councillor Conlon and his fiancé Alexa have a 2 year old daughter. He loves volunteering, has a strong, community based spirit and is proud to be a Vermilionite.

Councillor Kevin Martin |
An active volunteer in the community Councillor Martin was born and raised in Clandonald and Currently working as a Sales Consultant for Webb's Machinery, he is a proud member of the Vermilion Fire Department which serves the Town of Vermilion as well as the County of Vermilion River. Councillor Martin believes Vermilion is a great community and planning for the future is essential in order for our community to thrive and grow. Attraction of new businesses to the community is key to grow our population and the success of the town.

Councillor Robert Pulyk |
Councillor Robert Pulyk has been a resident of Vermilion since 1999. He was first elected to council in 2010.
He originates from Sarnia, Ontario. Councillor Pulyk has received a Bachelor of Science Degree, Major Dairy Science from the University of Guelph. He went on to work for William Neilsons in Plant Operations, Research & Development, and Corporate Quality Control in both Ottawa and Toronto. He moved to Alberta in 1983 to work for Alberta Agriculture as a Professional Agrologist. This took him to several different locations such as Grande Prairie, Wetaskiwin, Edmonton and Vermilion. He has now recently retired from Alberta Agriculture. His community involvement includes Grand Knight, Knights of Columbus in Vermilion, Chair of the Parent Council, Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin, and coaching soccer in Vermilion. Councillor Pulyk and his wife Loraine have raised six children while in Alberta. They love Vermilion and enjoy the many opportunities that Alberta has given them.

Councillor Joshua Rayment |
Local to Vermilion for over 25 years, Councillor Rayment is married and has a daughter and baby on the way. Growing up in Vermilion, he enjoyed many years of playing on local sports teams and participating in community events. Currently employed as an electrician for Lakeland College, he is also a member of the Occupational Health and Safety committee and the employee contract negotiation committee. He also acts as the Vice President of the Vermilion Slo-pitch league. Councillor Rayment has a keen interest in serving the community and contributing to the future growth and needs of Vermilion. He believes his strong interest in politics and a desire to be involved with a Municipal Government will allow him the opportunity to directly influence the quality of life for the residents of Vermilion and the future generation of children growing up in Vermilion. In his spare time you will find Councillor Rayment and his family enjoying Vermilion’s beautiful Provincial Park.

Councillor Robert Snow |
Councillor Snow has lived in Vermilion for over 20 years with his wife and son. He recently retired as a Paramedic where he worked for just under 22 years, serving 21 of those years in Vermilion. During his time as Paramedic, he served as the supervisor of the ambulance service for Vermilion’s area. In his role as Supervisor, he was able to be involved in several amazing programs that support the citizens of Vermilion, including sitting on the Public Safety Committee as a representative.
The people of Vermilion are a strong, resilient, and capable group of people, and Councillor Snow would like to empower them to meet their needs within the community. He is amazed at the ingenuity of our citizens; it is that creative spirit that I want to represent. Together we can build a great future!

Councillor Kirby Whitlock

Councillor Whitlock was born and raised in Vermilion. He is a third generation business owner currently operating two retail locations - the Men's Den and Christina’s Home Furnishings. Since 2018, Councillor Whitlock has served as Vice-Chair of The Good Life Institute and has been an active member of the Vermilion Rotary club for 7 years. A huge advocate for volunteerism within Vermilion he is also In his spare time, Councillor Whitlock partners and co-hosts with several community organizations providing them a place to host community lunches to raise funds for their organizations. Some of the causes include - the schools lunch programs, Hearts and Hands, Vermilion Heritage Museum, church charities and other great organizations with in the Town of Vermilion.
